I find AI both fantastic and worrisome at the same time. It’s exciting that after decades of research we’ve finally cracked the basics of what it can be. But I’m super concerned over how it’s been rolled out as well as the administrative aspects of how it’s implemented.
But this post isn’t going to delve deeply into that – I’ve covered that ground elsewhere. I’m also writing a white paper on how to ethically use AI. Assume that I’ve covered ethical counters in my AI use. Got it? Good. Let’s go.
I’m working on a series of apps to engage youth in the nonprofit that I run. First up is a Sonnet layout engine currently in development. Basically it shows how large language models (LLMs) process patterns and how that relates to how humans do so.
I chose Shakespeare as the data source because Will is always fun to learn and by being public domain there are zero concerns with copyrights, etc.
I’ll link to it when the app is live but I thought I’d tell you about it now.
